I have a love hate relationship with cooking. A perfect afternoon for me is spent wandering the aisles of Chapters browsing through new cookbooks and drinking my Cinnamon Dolce Latte from Starbucks. However, by the time supper rolls around on a weekday, I am exhausted. I dread the ever famous, What’s for Dinner question. So in order to avoid the stress of trying to plan a last minute dinner with hungry kids impatiently waiting, I meal plan! On Friday nights I scroll through my favorite food blogs & cookbooks and plan out the upcoming weeks meals.
Here’s what’s for dinner this week:
Monday – Korean BBQ Bangkok Burrito by Pinch of Yum
Tuesday– Grilled Jamaican Jerk chicken by Creme de la Crumb
Wednesday – Skillet Swedish Meatballs by Mel’s Kitchen Cafe with rice and broccoli
Thursday – Healthy Chicken Nuggets by Skinnytaste with asparagus and carrots
Friday – pizza
Saturday – Glowing Grilled Summer Detox Salad
Sunday – Shwarma Spiced Grilled Chicken with Garlic Yogurt with rice, tomatoes and cucumber by Skinnytaste
Breakfast is normally a smoothie, Greek yogurt with fruit or toast. Lunch is leftovers ( a rare occurrence in a house full of boys), a chicken and veggie wrap or a salad.
Which recipe are you looking forward to trying the most?
